Overview:
Due to the intermittent power supply of the pulse power supply, it has been widely used in many fields, among which the high voltage pulse power supply is a core component of the system. In order to obtain high repetition frequency and steep front high voltage pulse power supply, a high voltage pulse power supply based on IGBT is proposed in this paper. The system is mainly composed of high voltage DC charging power supply and pulse forming circuit. DSP is used as the main control chip to control the trigger of IGBT. And realize the soft switching technology, and use the simulation software PSIM to simulate and analyze the high voltage pulse power supply, verifying the correctness of the design idea.

Due to the intermittent power supply of the pulse power supply, it has been widely used in many fields. For example, high-energy physics, particle accelerators, metal materials processing, food sterilization, environmental dust removal and sterilization, etc., require such a pulse energy - reliable, high energy, pulse width and frequency adjustable, double Polar, flat top voltage waveform. Regardless of the purpose of using this high-power pulsed power supply, high-voltage pulsed Power Supplies are a core part of their design. Conventional high-power pulsed power supplies generally use a power frequency transformer to boost, and then use a magnetic compression switch or a rotating spark gap to obtain high-voltage pulses. Therefore, most of them are relatively cumbersome, and the obtained pulse frequency range is limited, and the repetition frequency is difficult to adjust, and the pulse waveform is easy. Change, low reliability, difficult control, and high cost. The solid state electrical appliance - IGBT is used to obtain the high voltage pulse waveform. The IGBT is used as an electronic switch for obtaining a high-voltage pulse, and an IGBT is used to form an LCC series-parallel resonant converter as a charging power source for a high-voltage pulse power source, and a full-bridge pulse forming circuit is formed by using the IGBT to output a bipolar high-voltage pulse waveform. The system structure and the function description of each part of the system are given. The simulation of the LCC charging process and the pulse forming circuit is carried out by simulating the power electronic simulation software PSIM.
